Tips:
1. A little long thumb fingernail definitely helps to make the sound that comes out of it resonate pretty clear and sweet; and also make your fingers feel no pain for long time playing.
Out of my 3 kalimbas, this is my favirite one. I had bought two other kalimbas. One from ebay and another from Amazon (Gecko brand) i did not like the way the end tines sounded in the other ones. They were stiff. But this one I got from Guitar Ranch sounded good. I also got a better price here.

Great sound and great deal! Instructions are pretty badly translated but the instrument is great!
